The College of Notre Dame in Baltimore has a, basically, 2 year program on nights and weekends to train people in other careers to cross over into education. I'm unceratin of the specific requirements to participate, but they sure came through for me when I returned to school to become certified in art after about 15 years of teaching English and reading.
