Sending this to you and the whole list for info...

We have Smokey Bear come online for the Read In!  I KNOW that he brings a
pamphlet that tells ALL about him with him...(Smokey is part of the fire
department here--)

I DO know that he is NOT Smokey THE Bear; he is Smokey Bear...NO "the"!!  I
was told in NO uncertain terms! LOL....

Let me check to see if I have a pamphlet at school---there is also a site at
the US Department of Forestry on the web...Jane
