Thanks to all of you who sent messages to say you were assisting with the
typhoon. It must have worked! The reports of the time it was supposed to
hit us kept moving back until it didn't pass us until 4 AM on Friday
morning. The beast went to the south of us by almost 100 miles and the
winds never reached the strength to do major damage. Although the south end
of the island is worse fo rthe wear - they will be without power and water
for another week or so - most of us have our power back on and never lost
water. Our power was out for only 42 hours. The last time a big blow hit I
lost water and power for 3 weeks!! Yuckers!

Thanks again!!
