Brain metaphor (sort of)

Thought this might strike a chord with those of us on the far side of fifty,
or getting there:

"The mind is the Bermuda Triangle of aging.  You never know when a shipshape
fragment of knowledge -- someone's name, a movie title, a simple word -- will
sail into treacherous waters and disappear without a trace, or when a raft of
information given up for lost will suddenly wash up on the shores of memory."
