Our school district is working on a proposal to the school board to add professional staff. The board always asks for PROOF that it is going to be beneficial. We have the Colorado study to back us up. Other suggestions? They will also ask how we are going to evaluate it if it is implemented. What will we use to PROVE that there has been an improvement? I think there were postings recently suggesting a short form for teachers to fill out after a research session in the library or after a lesson, but I don't think any specific ideas for questions were given. If you use such an evaluation tool or can direct me to one, please reply to me personally. I will post a HIT or our committee's final form. Two of us have a work session tomorrow morning (Monday, 10/18), and I would love some ideas before then if possible. Otherwise, the committee meets again on Wednesday, so additions and changes could be added by then. TIA. Mavis Catalfio Elementary Technology Media Specialist P. O.
