TECH: MH/CLS computer problem (long explanantion)

I'm having a problem with my Columbia Library System (version 3.00)circ
program that has a few people stumped. I've put in calls to CLS's 800
number, but I can't stay on hold forever, when I've got classes to teach,
books to check out, etc, so I though I'd ask you all.


Here goes... I'm in CirculAtion and I type "Z", to search for a book. I
Type in the title (or keywords) and poof the title appears. I choose the
correct one, etc, but when I get to the record I want, the book is out.
(that part's okay). However, in other locations throughout the district,
including the other school i'm in, the name of the person who has the
book appears, so I immediately know that     "Johnson, Mary" has out
"Mystery at the Fair" and it is due 12/17/96. My screen only tells me
it's out and the due date. Nothing about the name of the patron, not even
a barcode number.

This is frustrating,  when I'd like to know who has a certain book, (a
holiday book for example), so I can ask them to share it (teachers
mostly). What I've been doing to get the patron information is this:

-Look up title in "Z", get barcode for exact copy.
-Escape back one screen , choose "C" (Patron/item status), type in the
books barcode number, to obtain the patron barcode associated with it.
-Escape back again, choose "C" again, this time typing in the patron
barcode to view the name of the person with their "has list", to see what
patron actually has the book out.
-While I'm on that screen, I just check their has list to be sure they
truly have that copy of the title.

I know this is long and winded, but can anyone help me with a way to have
the name pop up when I do a title search? I've checked with my assistant
at my other school, she doesnt know how the info got there, it's just
"there".
