The posting that has been floating around the internet, including our listserv, referred to as Dr. Suess Technobabble, was written by a gentleman named Gene Ziegler. The complete text of the poem can be found at http://www.gsm.cornell.edu/staff/Gene/DrSuess.HTML Its original title is "A Grandchild's Guide to Using Grandpa's Computer." This poem has been recirculated so many times without the author's permission, that he wrote a second poem called "Hang the Information Highwayman!" at http://www.gsm.cornell.edu/staff/Gene/Highwayman.HTML I know how easy it is to find some interesting or humorous work on the web or in your e-mail, and then repost them to someone else. I HAVE DONE THIS MYSELF! So please don't take this as a flame if you were the one whose posting I recently saw. If you find something worth sharing without any claim of authorship, it is probably worth doing a search on some keywords in the article to see if you can find a complete copy that show who the author is, and whether she/he wishes it to be shared.
