Dear friends, I would like to "pick the collective brain" of the profession as to: How can we as parents, caregivers, librarians, and teachers help children in viewing and using media to exercise critical thinking skills? How can we use this media in a positive way for kids? Suggestions? Please recommend your favorite children's programs and why. Please recommend those children's programs that you feel are not suitable and your reasons why you feel the way you do. Please respond and I will post a hit of the results asap. This might make a wonderful PTA presentation for your school by the media specialist. TIA James A.
