**I sent this earlier today with the heading "GA Media Specialists".......and realized that many from other states would NOT read it with that designation!! If anyone can help....Please let me know!!!! TIA!!!** Dear Fellow LMNetters, Once again...here in Bibb County, GA we are trying to re-create the wheel. Countywide Media Specialists have been charged with developing a Media/Info Access Skills curriculum for K-12. This must correlate with the statewide Quality Core Curriculum (QCC) objectives on each grade level and must include an outline of skills to be taught, scope & sequence, AND one example of a cooperative plan used to teach those skills in the Media Center. Now I just KNOW that someone out there has already created this!!! My group has been assigned grades K-2......in the subject area of social studies......and could use some help from someone who has "been there, done that, got the T-shirt already!!!" If your school or county has any kind of similar plan in place.....for K-2.....OR....K-12.....and you would not mind sharing it with us.....PLEASE email me directly and let me know how to get a copy of it to use as an example in Bibb County!!! I just KNOW how awesome the power of the 'Net is....and am grateful for the wonderful help that LM-Netters have offered in the past.....I sure do appreciate the support of my colleagues throughout the state, the nation, and the WORLD!!! Thanks in Advance!!! Jan Rice McArthur, LMS Matilda Hartley Elem. Macon, GA mhartley@mindspring.com
