Target: Books to support "a week without violence"

Recently our local YWCA sponsored a "week without violence and asked local
schools, religious groups etc. to participate.  They distributed a booklist
but the books were geared towards very young children.  Do any of you have
suggestions for titles, either fiction or non-fiction, appropriate to
middle school that would deal with violence in the family, bullying,
teasing, aggression, etc.?  I will be happy to post a hit.  TIA
