Basic Video Production Text

Greetings,
One of my responsibilities as Library Media Specialist is to help teach a
course in video production.  Initially we wanted to avoid structure by not
using a text.  Now we are thinking that we could use that structure.  Does
anyone know of a good basic text in video production geared toward the high
school level?
Any suggestions would be appreciated,
