ELEM: Grandparents/Seniors

Hello everyone!  I am trying to create a bibliography of books suitable
for Grade 3 students (age 8-ish) on the theme of Grandparents and/or
Seniors.  I'd like to have some read-aloud books, as well as books
that the children would  be able to read independently.  I have some
books already, but would appreciate any further suggestions that you
might have.  TIA.
