GEN: Listening center equipment

Help!  I need some recommended brand names for listening center equipment
(headphones, tape players/recorders, etc.).  I've just started my first
professional position (yah!) and I've never had to buy this stuff before.
If you've had success with a certain brand or supplier, I would love to know!
