LM_NET: Library Media Networking
I really appreciate those who have been supportive of me in the past on
LM_NET. Although I work very hard (all summer and usually until the
custodian closes at 10:00pm) and have earned the respect of my fellow staff
members, I still often feel like they wonder, "just what does she do down
there all day?" I count on you guys to understand. No one else can know
what it is like to stand in my shoes. I almost went on and on, but most of
you already know about what I would say, because you're doing the same
things I am. Schools seem to breed a judgemental attitude, I come here for
compassion. Please try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Most
people who take the time to be on a professional listserv are trying their
best - whatever their circumstances.
