For those of you having troubles with mice and their various parts, you
might want to consider replacing your keyboard. No, that was typed
correctly. There is a keyboard that has built into it a trackPAD - the
finger-operated no-moving-parts replacement for a mouse. I believe ALPS
makes one model, but I'm sure there are others. With that keyboard you
save desktop real estate and you don't have to worry that kids will take
the beast apart.
