Hi all,

I hope there is someone out there in the UK who can help a TL
colleague...

Julie Goodsir is the Teacher Librarian at Willoughby Girls High
School in Sydney, Australia. She has been accepted for the 1997
Commonwealth Teacher Exchange to the UK but so far there appears
to be no secondary teacher-librarian in the UK who wants to come to
Australia.

Sydney, Australia is a wonderful city to live in (just ask Mike
Eisenberg!) and Willoughby Girls High School is a comprehensive
girls school of 550 pupils with excellent discipline and modern
facilities. As part of the exchange the UK TL and family can live in
Julie's house in Mosman on Balmoral Beach (very nice!!).

It would be great if any LM_NETTERS know of a person in the UK,
or could pass this message onto any person in the UK you may
know who would like to take up this UK/Australia exchange. So
far Julie has had no response.

Julie can be contacted by phone at home phone on + 61 2 99696208 or
by school fax on + 61 2 9967 2174, or via email at <wglibjg1@ozemail.com.au>

With many international subscribers to LM_NET, I'm hoping someone can
help out.

Many thanks,

Lyn
