closing the MC per principal

Hello Netters,

My brand new principal told me, the brand new ms, that on Oct. 7-9 I
would have to close the MC.  He said that it's the only place they can do
some kind of screening, he thinks it is hearing.  He suggested that we
start packing for our Dec. move. During a hearing screening?  Is this
sort of thing typical?
