Wayland Affirmative Action Officer [End of Job Posting] NOTE: This vacancy was created when my request for a transfer to another school in the Boise District was approved two days before school started! This library has 36 networked computers, 25 of them in a classroom that is part of the library. The network runs Columbia Library System and has full Internet access. Later this fall, a CD-ROM tower will be added to the network, and every classroom in the building is to be networked by the end of the school year. The position is described as "terminal" only because it is district policy to do so whenever positions are filled after August 15. The person who is hired will have to reapply for the position in the spring, but would be rehired unless they had proved themselves incompetent. Incentives: Boise is often ranked very high on the "Best Places to Live" lists (people go skiing and mountain biking after work!); the district has a competitive salary schedule, and excellent benefits. * * * * * * * * * * * * * "A change is as good as a rest."
