Request Am. History sources

I am looking for suggestions for good resources for 8th graders studying the
French and Indian Wars.  another 8th grade class is looking at social and
economic history in Great Britain during our colonial and revolutionary period.
I have found little on the French and Indian Wars and the British perspective
is difficult to locate (colonial period,etc).  What I do have I got from a
friend in England but it is too young for our students.  Thanks for
