ELEM: fiction book which features knitting and/or crochetting

I am looking for a fiction book which features kids who knit or crochet,
other than the one called Knitwits.  It is to be used with a crafts book
on knitting and crocheting for young (gr. 2-5) students.  If you have any
suggestions, would you please send them directly to me?  Thanks very much
