I am interested in hearing from anyone whose district has a library advisory committee? I would define this as a standing committee, not just one formed for book challenges, or accredidation evaluations, or some other single purpose. What is the make-up of the committee (admin., teachers, parents, community, etc.?) What are the goals? How often does it meet? Would you recommend a school consider forming one? Why or why not?
