To all:

What I find disturbing about the Links99 and ASD sites is not that they
list my school but they list it as if they are listing our website which
they aren't since we don't have one. They have a spot for an alumni
directory. What can this be? They have a "yearbook" area with phony
notes from made-up people. They have a school "wish" list which asks
for people who want to donate to call the school number. This is all
misleading since the school had nothing to do with this. I believe they
are misrepresenting themselves as having my school web page. They
don't. When someone does a search and finds my school here they will be
led to believe we put up this page and may not go on to find our actual
or real web page (when we have one.)
Again, a directory is one thing, a pretend web page is something else.

The Link99 page even shows animals as if they were mascots which they
are not. This doesn't bother me as much as the ASD pages which pretend
to be more representative than they are.

It's as if someone put up a web page with a picture of my house (any
picture of any house) and my address and phone number and
pretended this was my web page. Wouldn't this trouble you even if your
address is public record?

Well, it bothers me. I'll see what my fellows at school think about it.
