GEN: TIES and National Science and Technology Week

You're invited to an Open House! During the week of  April 21st through the
25th, TIES (Technology and Information Educational Services) will be opening
up their subscriber- based Internet project, Discover Minnesota in honor of
National Science and Technology Week.

The Discover Minnesota Internet Project, designed for grades 3-9, started
on January 13 and runs through May 9, 1997.  Its goal is to trace the
history of Minnesota from
the Ice Age to the present.  During our Open House Week, we'll be exploring
Minnesota's first residents, the animals.  Tune in to our site FREE for
this week ONLY to see activities, contests, and special features as we
highlight Minnesota's BIRDS of PREY.
