HIT, SEC: Selecting Periodicals

Thanks for all your advice!
This is a short list of considerations for selecting periodicals for
your high school LMC to subscribe to:

Your POPULATION (number, ethnicity, etc.)
Your BUDGET
Your CURRICULUM (order according to what teachers assign as research
        projects)
Your INDEXING method, ie. Reader's Guide to Periodicals (the magazines
        will only be accessed for research if they are indexed)
Your ELECTRONIC DATABASES (if your students have access to
        full-text journals electronically, you MAY want to reconsider
        ordering print as well - depends on your situation)
Your InterLibrary Loan capabilities (what is available from other
        libraries?)

Katz's Magazines for Libraries was mentioned as a good resource for
finding reviews of journals.
