LM_NET Posting Information-- Signatures Needed

Dear LM_NET Colleagues,

Messages posted to LM_NET need to have a signature which includes:

Name
Occupation/Job Title/Worksite
e-mail address

  Example:

  Jo Booksworth, Librarian
  Best Elementary, Bestville, CA
  JBOOKSWORTH@BEST.K12.CA.US

   Reasons: The address at the top (header) doesn't identify if the person
is supposed to be on LM_NET. Also, many people don't see the person's
return address in their e-mail header, so they must unnecessarily reply to
the entire list. If a person does not belong on LM_NET, and posts
inappropriate questions or commercial messages, it gives us a way to
filter them out.

  With 7,000+ members, and 70+ messages a day being posted, we don't want
to have many inappropriate messages posted. This is just one of the ways
that LM_NET is trying to keep this forum a useful and helpful place to be
online.
