Dear Colleagues, Some LM_NETers tend to sign on and off frequently, resubscribing when they need to post an urgent request or question. Due to our new "Signatures Required" policy, ALL resubscribers and new members are set to a "Review" process. This process is one of the measures we take to filter UCE (unsolicited commercial e-mail). Thus, delays of up to 24 hours may be experienced by new and resubscribing members before their messages are posted (end even longer of their messages are returned to them for the addition of a signature.) A solution for this (to avoid the delays) is to use NOMAIL, rather than the signoff procedure. * * * * Temporarily Stopping (and Re-Starting Mail From LM_NET * * * * If you want to stop receiving mail from LM_NET for a period of time, all you have to do is send a specific message to the listserv computer which handles LM_NET mail.
