Joint School/Public Libraries

My superintendent has asked me to research successful school/public
combination libraries.  We are only interested in libraries located:

1.  on a high school campus, jointly operated by a school district and
a public system, in a heavily populated urban area.

I have already checked ERIC and the LM_net archives.  Most joint
ventures seem to be in rural areas but this is not our situation.  I
am also aware of the Chula Vista and Scottsdale libraries recently
mentioned in School Library Journal.
