Dear Everyone:
I'm glad many of you are enjoying the poem I sent in earlier. As you can
probably tell I'm online/have been for awhile today and I wanted to pass
along these sites for you. I'm trying to beef up my ESL/Bilingual books for
the ever-growing population at my school. The ESL teacher and aide have
expressed that the kids are often frustrated with the selections. They say
that some amount of frustration is good becuase it encourages them to learn
English somewhat. However, I don't want a lot of negative reinforcement.
I don't know anything about the reliability of these places, but they may
have somethings that can be used and are linked to other ESL sites that are
reliable.

Bilingual Books For Kids
http://www.bilingualbooks.com/

Multilingual Books
http://www.esl.net/mbt/

Here are two ESL sites if you need them!

ESL Links
http://www.mts.net/~jgreenco/esl.html

ESL, EFL, and L2 Information
http://www.emich.edu/~linguist/esl.html

Please share if you have any information/sources that you use for this type
of selecting. I know that Booklinks usually has a "Books in Spanish"
section, but sometimes I can't tell what level they are on--they look/sound
like adult books and I don't want to include them! TIA!
