Hello LM_NETters! I'm seeking a copy of 4 simple rules an LM_NETter posted a couple weeks ago (about the time of the Dewey months posting that organized curriculum around a different Dewey classification each month <= a BRILLIANT strategy, BTW!) These rules were something to the effect of "We put books back in the right place so we all can find them; We take good care of our library books so we all can use them" etc. The rules were sincere and sensitive and seemed like they would elicit cooperation because they weren't authoritarian but compassionate. Can the original poster send me a copy? Or if others saved them, I'd appreciate it if someone could send on a copy. Please respond to me personally at: matok50@aol.com. (HOW EMBARRASSING to have misplaced the original posting; after all we librarians are supposed to be so organized and efficient and all that!) As I think of it, other librarians' rules might prove useful, as well. If you have a good set of library rules that you're willing to share, I'd love to receive them. I'll post a HIT if there's interest. TIA! Enjoy the waning days of summer! : - > Andrea Avni, Librarian (matok50@aol.com) Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle (K-8) Bellevue, WA 98008 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to: listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write either: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET or 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST For more help see LM_NET On The Web: http://ericir.syr.edu/lm_net/ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
