Thanks for tape tips

Dear LM_NETTers,

Thanks as usual for all the advice on tape residue. Wish
I lived in America where I could purchase GOO GONE (top
advice), DISSOLVE IT, or GOOF OFF.

Others suggested kerosene, lighter fluid, alchol, and
elbow grease.

We used something languishing in our basement left by
old occupants called LIFT OFF and lots of elbow grease.
We also used OOPS for paint removal, and it wasn't bad
either.
