TARGET: Dot matrix or inkjet printer?

Dear LM_Netters:

I have been eagerly preparing to update to the latest version of my
library software, Library Pro 2.0, but I read today that the software
cannot be used with a ImageWriter printer (dot matrix) on a network.

It's one thing to find the money to buy an inkjet printer but I don't
have the budget to forever be buying cartridges for it.

So I'd like to know what type of printer libraries are using: dot matrix
or inkjet? If you are using inkjet how much money per year do you spend
buying cartridges?

P.S. If anyone else out there is using Library Pro 2.0 I've got some
other questions for you.
