Dear Media Specialists,

A sixth grade social studies teacher in my building is looking for some
contacts in Canada to help her students with their Canadian reports.

Each year in January and February the teacher requires her students to
select a province or territory and create a travel brochure for their
selected area.  This brochure includes many facts as well as interesting
places to visit.

We are looking for one pen pal or one class per province or territory to
correspond with our 6th grade students  using e-mail or the regular postal
service. If you know of a  class that  is interested in helping us with
this project, please contact me at  diannea@umd5.umd.edu.us   by Dec.10,
1997.
