The new (Feb 1997) Multimedia Fair Use Guidelines are the first official
(well, semi-official) copyright documents to address the Internet
specifically. It cautions education personnel and students that works
taken from the Internet may be copyrighted, and these works may also be
posted on the Internet without permission of the copyright holder.
