I'm tired of the same old things I've done in the library for Christmas and wondered if we could start a thread on the best of our ideas. One of my favorites is to read Shitrley Climo's Cobweb Christmas and decorate my library tree accordingly... nuts, wheat bundles, Cookies made of construction paper & decorators paint and of course tinsel. We make spiders of sweet gum balls (from Sweet gum trees), black pipe cleaners and googlie eyes. It's really a unique tree! I do this with first and second grades, but am looking for ideas K through 6th grade. Now, it's your turn! I will post a hit, if you prefer to send messages to me (use my home address) TIA! koontzs@horizon.hit.net (home) koontzs@usd286.hit.net (school) Sharon Koontz, K-12 LMS U.S.D. 286 Sedan KS 67361 "Never judge a book by its movie."- J.W.
