Patricia Lee Wassink,wassinpl@UWEC.EDU,Internet writes: I set my lmnet to nomail over Thanksgiving week and returned to find 473 messages!! Then I discovered that I had to VERIFY the message! Is this new? I have set to nomail before and do not remember having to do this. Since I usually wait until the very last moment to stop my mail (just really hate to miss anything!) I generally do not turn it back on to discover messages which arrive after my nomail message I, too, returned after 5 days off to over 247 messages that I didn't expect to have! Why can't we know of these changes before this kind of mishap occurs? The last time I set to nomail I didn't have to verify, either. This isn't the first time that something was changed on this service that ended up being an inconvenience after the fact. Can we also know WHY this change was made? WHY do we have to verify a nomail message???
