ELEM: Guess What? (Mem FOX)

A third grade teacher came to me with objections to the book Guess What? by
Mem Fox.  The illustrations by Vivienne Goodman are the "offensive" or at
least questionable content.  Has anyone seen this book and want to offer
your comments?  The book itself is very un-Mem-Fox-like because of the
illustrations and the teacher didn't like that the students had found it
subsequent to their discussion about Mem Fox, the author.
