TARGET read-alikes

Hello friends,
        I know that this is a busy time of year for all of us.  However,
it is nearing the time for me to need to spend the rest of the money
that I have in my budget for this year. I would really like to do
something with improving my young adult fiction section.  Lately, it
seems like the students are eagerly looking for books written like
diaries such as _It happened to Nancy_, _Go Ask Alice_, and _Fat
Chance_.  Does anyone have any other suggestions of books along these
lines?  Any other fiction that your young adults are reading eagerly
would also be welcome.
