Splitting materials from old to new school

Netter's,

As I've mentioned in another subject, I am in a Pre/K-5 school that will split
within the next year.  Our 4-5 grades, along with the 4-5 grades in two other
schools, will split off and become a new school of just 4-5 grades while we
remain Pre/K-3.  Do any of you have any suggestions/recommendations for
determining what materials to send, etc.  I was told that I needed to go ahead
and start tagging materials that would need to go.  While many items that are
grade specific will be easy to do...I'm wondering about selecting other
materials to go.  Any suggestions and recommendations on handling this
successfully will greatly be appreciated.  TIA
