My technical support people have concluded that the problems I am now having (after three years) with my CD stack on the server is because the original 2X speed drives are being replaced with 8X drives--and soon with 12X. They want me to replace the remaining 2X drives with 8X if we can still get 8X. Problems I am having: CDs dismounting, CDs which ran in the past now locking up a workstation. Latest drivers for the drives have been installed. Has anyone else had problems with using drifferent CD drive speeds on a server stack, and what did you do to correct it. TIA.
