Symbolism of Flowers

All:
Can anyone recommend a book (or internet URL) discussing the symbolism of
flowers, not necessisarily limited to literature?  I have tried a number of
serch engines and terms and find only the thinnest of information.  ILL came
up dry, as did the local florist shops....
Any ideas?  TIA, and a Happy New Year to all you grand folks out there!
