Needed: Video/Laser Disc Literature Software for Elementary

Hello,

I am looking for a piece of laser disc software
to promote reading/literature enjoyment for the
elementary level, preK/K-3 or through 6th gr.

I once saw a series, I believe from Pied Piper
Productions, that was a filmstrip series. I had
heard that they put that series in video format.
Now, I DON'T want that older series simply in
laser disc format. I'd like something new, fresh,
and ever so appealing to young people to encourage
them to read and as yet another way to bring books
to life.

Can anyone help? Any ideas?

P.S. Do you think laser diss are on the way out??
