Hello all...just can't help myself...so many wonderful
authors have been named in this thread, its GRAND!

Adding a couple of favorites not mentioned...

     Candace Barr - 13th c. Welsh archer, blinded during the

                              apothecary also spy...his name?
                              Owen Archer.

     Aaron Elkins - Forensic anthropologist..its just amazing
                              what he can find out from a six inch
                               bone fragment and a couple of teeth...

     Carole Nelson Douglas - Sherlock Holmes stories from
                              the Irene Adler perspective.

      Susan Wittig Alpert - the China Bayles series...TX
                               lawyer who now owns an herb shop.

     Bruce Alexander - mid 18th century England...Sir John
                                Fielding...actual judge...brother to
                                Henry...

      Paul Harding - the Sorrowful mysteries of Brother
                              Athelstan, 14th c. London...

     Ann Dukthas - Nicholas Segalla "a detective cursed to
                              travel through time"  - "solves"
                              historical mysteries...the murder of

Can you tell that I LOVE historical whodunnits...I COULD
go on and on and on, but...
