I just wish I had time to read the new books I get in.  Many of my books
of course are very simple, being that I am a primary librarian, but I
cannot read all of them.  I have become the "technology" person and am
called to a room for problems when a vcr or TV or Computer doesn't work
just right. I cannot find time to weed proberly either.
I have read the posts about public vs. school and have been surprised.  I
did not know that their were people who did not like me. HA!
I do keep my library open on Tues. evening from 5 to 7. It has not been
real popular but I just started it this fall and plan to continue for a
while.  I have been in this library about 12 years and have spend summer
time working every year.
From the comments I have read by some public librarians it seems that
there is a lack of education on their part as to what is expected of a
school librarian.
