LM_NET: Library Media Networking
I have also been a Public Librarian (adult reference)and a school
librarian. It is like comparing apples and oranges. They are very
different jobs but both have the same goals. I am presently a middle
school librarian but still substitute in the public library during the
summer. For me this works out great because I keep in touch with the
public librarians in the area. When I am at the public library I realize
how much I would miss the one-on-one contact with the students. I get to
know the students very well. In the public library you get to know some of
the patrons well but most of them are in and out. Those are my thoughts.
