LM_NET: Library Media Networking
My paraprofessional and I are interested in your opinions about the Scholastic
Network. We have started on a 30 day free trial of the network, and can
obtain a free 12-month subscription if we schedule a spring Scholastic
Book Fair. I need additional info about whether this network is "networkable"
in our building, which has a Novell network in place, and unfortunately
left the 1-800 number at school. If anyone has networked this program, or
knows anything about the potential for doing this, we would like to hear
from you. Also, if you have used this network, we'd like your opinion of
its usability. Our building is a K-4 building. Our first impression is that
its got some great info and options, but if the Library is the only place
it can be accessed, we would have to give it some more thought, as we are
only partially flexibly scheduled and access would therefore be limited.
