I am posting this to the list because I thought many of you would like
to know of this publisher:  Child's World

Child's World has a wonderful series called NATUREBOOKS.  This series
has beautiful color photos (full page), glossary, and (best of all) an
index!  I don't like to purchase NF books sans index.  The text is 2-3
gr level, but VERY high interest.  I ordered several last year, and will
order more.  And, yes, there is a book on Armadillos.  If you are
unfamiliar with this publisher and need books on nature, request the
catalog.  The only drawback is the binding.  It is sewn, but the covers
which are described as Library Reinforced, are really less than
described.  However, when I called my rep re: a 2 circulation problem,
it was promptly replaced, no questions asked.
