MID: SUMMER READING LISTS

After lurking for several days, I'm testing the waters! I am the media
specialist in a private school, K-5, that is adding grades 6 and 7.
Would those of you who are more established with middle school please be
so kind as to send me your summer reading lists for 6th and 7th grades?
Our students are required to read ten books over the summer (though this
number might be modified for the middle school), with five being in
genre categories and five of their own choice. Also, if you have
suggestions for recognizing those students who successfully fulfill the
summer reading requirement, my teachers would appreciate it! You may
send the lists by snail mail or e-mail. TIA!
