k12 collection division

Here is a stumper for you.  A k12 building is merging a secondary library
and an elementary library into one library.  Do you think there should be
separate fiction and juvenile fiction sections?  non fiction and juvenile
non fiction sections?  Of course there will be a separate easy section.

What about barcodes?  Is there any advantage to having separate barcode
series for the secondary and juvenile collections?
