Target: 5th grade RL Book for 9th gr

I need a recommendation for a book on a 5th - 6th grade reading level for a
class of 9th graders (mostly boys).  The teacher would like to purchase a
classroom set so she'll want a title that is available in paperback.  She
is considering "Stone Fox".  Any other suggestions?  Thank you
