Finally, here is the post on picture books with borders or frames. Thanks to all (65+) who contributed authors and/or titles. It's an excellent listing that includes Australian authors, and folktales from the Hmong and Cherokee. This group is fabulous! I've verified most information, but I'd be interested in hearing from anyone with corrections or additions. Also, there was a magazine article mentioned, but we've yet to find complete information. The "source" suspects it was in "School Library Media Monthly" prior to 1989. Anyone interested in solving this little mystery??? I'll race you to an answer!
